Arguments
The way the argument has usually been going...
"Greens" are only Cassandras, seeing doom everywhere, trying to get everyone else to do as they preach.
Green groups have begun only following their own interests – mainly, to get your money so they make a living… ah, can do their work.
Only a few upright voices of reason tell you how what the greens want would really be what would bring about doom.
Besides, environmentalism is so dead. It's not telling people anything they'd actually want to hear…
Which needed to be true, and then could be motivational.
That last bit is in earnest. A debate quite like that simplification is taking place, too:
as an argument between strawmen.
It's time to forget the strawman and do better.
