Long time, no see... doesn't mean I haven't been busy.

I finally finished writing up my first article on parkour, presenting results of the media discourse analysis and - or: as compared to results of - field work.

Presently, the article is under review... let's see what the reviewers have to say!

"Parkour as Object of Science"

First off, as part of my work looking into parkour, I have been researching what public media have to say about it.
One part (more or less) of that is a look at science.

Since questions about published articles on parkour pop up every now and then, I thought I should provide this (very short - there just isn't much) part of a chapter as a review essay plus bibliography: "Parkour as Object of Science." What I also managed to finish is an online questionnaire for traceurs, collecting data about sports practice, environmental attitudes, and views of parkour/freerunning.

I estimate that answering all the questions should typically take 15-20 minutes if you do it as quickly as it should be done. I know, quite a lot of time for cyberspace- and parkour-attuned people, but good science requires more than a glance.
