Campus Europae – Reflections on a Year in Latvia
When I returned to university to improve my education in pedagogy and widen my skills through teacher training, an opportunity to also go abroad – in fact, twice – with the study program Campus Europae offered itself.
Having both regretted that I had not studied abroad before, and wanting to get more of a European perspective, I jumped at the chance. Thus, the academic year 2007/08 found me in Latvia, studying at the University of Latvia, Riga.
Update 2010: I had originally blogged about this time on here, but have since decided to take out these posts since the focus has – obviously – shifted considerably. Yet, I wanted to have a summary of my experiences kept on here, which is what you find in the following:
